The We The People Congress is a nationwide, non-partisan, not-for-profit membership organization of constitutional activists committed to "institutionalizing" citizen vigilance through civic education, monitoring of governments, and organizing grassroots programs of civic resistance to confront and repel tyranny.

Based on the life work of Thomas Jefferson, the Congress is organized into local state and county "ward republics."  The Congress works closely with the WTP Foundation to achieve its mission to restore Constitutional Order and reclaim Liberty.

Our current work focuses centrally around the long-forgotten First Amendment Right to Petition. The Congress is determined to resurrect the "Capstone Right" of the Bill of Rights as an exercise of the People's natural Right to Sovereignty over their servant governments.

The Right to Petition is the profound, peaceful and constitutional solution that will save our Republic and restore Constitutional Order to our nation.

The federal courts have been found to be co-conspirators with the Executive Branch in a collusive scheme to avoid being held accountable to the Constitution by the People.   There can be no doubt. The federal judiciary is now being utilized as an weapon of oppression rather than for the ends of Justice for which it was designed.   Not only has the Judiciary abandoned its role as an independent arbiter of legal controversies involving injured citizens seeking remediation for Government wrongs, the Judiciary now refuses to even discuss the most basic, underlying Founding Principles upon which our Republic rests, i.e., the Rights of the People to Sovereignty and to hold Government accountable -- particularly its obligation to respond to Petitions for Redress of constitutional torts as provided by the First Amendment.   The most egregious result of these developments is that not only are the People effectively unable to secure Redress against Government entities that have harmed them, but the Judiciary has now abdicated its fundamental function under the Constitution by refusing to interpret the Constitution where questions of the Sovereignty of the People are implicated. Ron Paul WTP Chairman Bob Schulz will speak at next Tuesday's Freedom Rally in Washington DC. The April 15th event features numerous individuals speaking in defense of the Constitution, including presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul. It will take place on the grassy protest area just off the west steps of the U.S. Capitol and also feature live entertainment throughout the duration. The conference will focus on a number of volatile national issues that are of crucial importance to our national agenda and the future of our Republic.  The issues will be publicly debated, pro & con, by a field of well qualified experts of national renown who will examine them through the “prism” of the requirements of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
